About Us
Building a Sustainable Future Through Unity and Action
Who We Are
Collectif de la Diaspora Archéloise pour le Développement (CODAD) is a global nonprofit organization created to unite the sons and daughters of Arcahaie around a shared purpose: supporting the sustainable development and long-term empowerment of our hometown, Arcahaie, Haiti.
Born from love for our city and a strong sense of responsibility, CODAD brings together members of the Archéloise diaspora from around the world to combine knowledge, skills, leadership, and resources for the benefit of our community.
We believe that when the diaspora and the local community work together, meaningful and lasting change is possible.
Our Story
CODAD was founded by Archélois and Archéloises who share a deep connection to Arcahaie and a commitment to its future. Living abroad but rooted at home, we recognized the power of unity and collective action.
Through collaboration, transparency, and shared responsibility, CODAD was created as a platform to mobilize the diaspora and support initiatives that strengthen education, youth development, culture, health, environmental protection, and economic opportunity in Arcahaie.
Our Mission
At CODAD, our mission is to unite the Archéloise diaspora and channel our collective skills, resources, and leadership toward the sustainable development of Arcahaie.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a prosperous, united, and self-sustaining Arcahaie, where every young person has access to education, opportunity, and a future shaped by dignity and possibility.
